-“This day I will marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, LOVE!”
One thing I am missing while Local Mag are on a break is viewing the stunning wedding photos and heartwarming stories that come in for each issues local wedding section. We all love a local wedding and so I just had to share with you the wedding of my friend Sarah and her lovely husband Seamus.
Although the couple from the local region they have immersed themselves wholly in the local community, living and playing football and netball in koondrook/Barham and working in Cohuna. Beautiful, intelligent and outgoing people such as these two are just what our communities need.
After a romantic proposal in Sydney in March 2012, of which Sarah admits to thinking Seamus was ‘mucking ariund’, the couple began planning a wedding for the following year.
When e day finally arrived the ceremony was at Forest St Uniting Church and the reception followed at Chateau Dore Wonery Mandurang.
As predicted the bride looked stunning when the day arrived in a dress by Henry Roth and the bridesmaids wore Alfred Angelo (both from Bendigo Bridal Collections). The guys all wore suits from Bendigo Formal Wear.
Wedding photography was in the hands of the incredibly talented Cindy Power, a local fave:)
Sarah says “our wedding day was absolutely perfect, we loved sharing our special day with our friends and family. A big thanks to our family and friends who made our day so special”.
