Koondrook Barham Farmers Market

One of my favorite things about living in Koondrook is my monthly trip to the Koondrook Barham Farmers Market. This morning my daughter and I walked down to pick up our monthly supply of goodies including the usual plus whatever else was in season that looked yummy.

Firstly we buy a bag of seedless grapes for Arkie to eat in her pusher as I walk around shopping and shopping to chat to everyone I know along the way.

After doing the routine lap to see what was on offer today we then bought the Sugar & Spice cookies from The Sweet Sisters (I cannot go home without a bag of these or my partner would send me back for them), Verjus from Restdown Wines, walnuts from Brian & Tracey Goble, homemade pasta from M M Designer Pasta, fig & hazelnut bread and some delicious white skin nectarines which are very quickly disappearing.

It is an absolute pleasure each month to know that not only am supporting local farmers and produce providers but to be able to mix and mingle with many local friends along e way. We look forward to the third Sunday of every month for our next visit.

Do yourself a favor and get to e next one, you will not be disappointed with the wide range of yummy offerings you will find.
